Job Summary:
Sheng Hui Technology India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to oversee, design, and manage our end-to-end industrial construction and infrastructure projects. As a senior member of the engineering division, you will lead structural assessments, coordinate with multi-disciplinary design teams, and ensure all site projects meet strict regulatory compliance, budget targets, and safety metrics.
The ideal candidate must possess an advanced analytical mindset, a strong background in structural execution, and a proven track record of supervising complex structural builds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Manage, execute, and monitor complex civil engineering and industrial construction projects from conceptual design through to final handover.
- Structural & Technical Design: Oversee structural calculations, foundations, and engineering layouts, ensuring all drawings comply with national and international building codes.
- Cross-Functional BIM Coordination: Collaborate closely with architects, mechanical/electrical (MEP) teams, and BIM engineers to resolve design clashes and optimize material efficiency.
- Site Management: Conduct routine site inspections to audit work quality, track construction timelines, ensure contractor accountability, and implement strict safety protocols.
- Cost & Estimation Control: Monitor project budgets, review bill of quantities (BOQ), track vendor material procurement, and manage resource allocation to prevent cost overruns.
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive technical feasibility studies, progress reports, and documentation for senior corporate leadership and external stakeholders.
Strict Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education (Mandatory): Master’s Degree (M.Tech / M.E.) in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a highly related technical discipline. Candidates with only a Bachelor's degree will not be considered.
- Experience: Exactly 5 to 7 years of solid, hands-on experience working as a Civil or Structural Engineer, preferably handling commercial, factory, or industrial infrastructure projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Extensive familiarity with engineering design platforms (e.g., AutoCAD, Staad Pro, or BricsCAD) and a strong conceptual understanding of BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership and team-management capabilities, excellent site troubleshooting skills, and clear verbal and written communication.
