Quality- Lab Incharge required for NABL accreditation Lab.
QMS Standards Adherence: Ensure all laboratory activities, testing procedures, and documentation comply with relevant Quality Management System standards ( ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949, ISO 17025) and industry specifications (e.g., ASTM, ASME,).
Laboratory Operations validation, calibration, and proficiency testing programs.
Sheet Metal Fabrication Industry, SS RM inspection,
Prepare and maintain audit reports, track non-conformities, and ensure timely closure of findings.
Ability to handle the following Testing Equipment’s/ Instruments Microscope, Macroscope, Hardness Tester, UTM.
Spectro machine.
Monitor Inhouse Quality Parameters
Conduct incoming Raw Material quality Tests, Validate test reports.
Technical Skills - In-depth knowledge of metal properties, material processing (SS Sheet metal, welding, heat treatment), and their effects on final material performance.
Strong understanding of statistical analysis and application in quality control.
Skills
Education : MSc, or BSc, Chemical or Diploma or Degree in Engg
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Quality Control / QA Lab in a sheet metal processing, fabrication, steel service centre, or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of steel coil/sheet tolerances, slitting processes, surface defects, and measurement tools.
Proficient in using precision measuring instruments: Vernier, Micro meter, Hardness Tester, etc.
Ability to prepare Inspection Reports, Test reports a as per Customer requirements.
Good analytical, strong understanding of, process control, and quality assurance standards.
Candidates need to have strong technical background and good understanding of Quality Systems and processes
