About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated candidates with a BE/B.Tech in Electronics, Telecommunication, ECE, or related disciplines to join our team as a Network Analyst. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in satellite communications, networking, and maritime technology while supporting vessels operating across the globe.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, diagnose, and troubleshoot maritime communication systems, including Starlink, VSAT, Iridium OpenPort (IOP), FleetBroadband (FBB), and other onboard network equipment.
- Maintain and update vessel communication databases, network configurations, and service records.
- Provide technical support to vessels and customers, ensuring timely issue resolution and high service quality.
- Activate and configure satellite communication services, including Inmarsat SIM cards, SkyFile Email, and SkyFile-C services.
- Monitor network performance and connectivity to ensure uninterrupted vessel communications.
- Manage crew internet services, maintain usage records, and prepare monthly reports.
- Coordinate with Marlink support teams, service providers, and vessel personnel to resolve communication and networking issues.
- Participate in technical training programs and stay updated with emerging satellite and networking technologies.
Eligibility Criteria
- BE/B.Tech in Electronics, Telecommunication, ECE, Information Technology, or related engineering disciplines.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Good English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (IP addressing, routing, switching, internet connectivity).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle responsibilities during assigned shifts.
Additional Information
- Rotational shifts, including approximately 6–7 night shifts per month.
- Candidates should be capable of independently handling support activities during shifts.
- Training will be provided on maritime communication and satellite networking systems.
Pay: ₹280,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
