- Water: Analyzed to ensure it is free from harmful oils, acids, or organic impurities.
Plant Batching and Mixing
- Computerized Weighing: Automated scales measure exact weights of cement, water, and aggregates to eliminate human error.
- Equipment Calibration: Scales and water meters undergo routine calibration to stay within tight accuracy tolerances.
- Transit Mixing: Transit trucks mix the load thoroughly for a minimum number of revolutions before delivery.
Fresh and Hardened Concrete Testing
- Slump Test: Performed at the site to measure the flow, consistency, and workability of fresh concrete.
- Compressive Strength Test: Molded concrete cubes or cylinders are cured and tested in compression machines at 7 and 28 days to verify strength.
- Temperature Tracking: Monitored closely during transit and placement to prevent premature setting or thermal cracking.
