Job Overview:
The Data Entry Executive will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in Excel and Google Sheets, primarily supporting the accounts team. The role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to handle financial data efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and update data related to accounts, invoices, expenses, and other financial records in Excel and Google Sheets
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all entries to support accounting operations
- Verify data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information and correct them promptly
- Organize and maintain digital files, documents, and spreadsheets in a systematic manner
- Assist the accounts team with data compilation, report preparation, and reconciliation tasks
- Generate basic reports and summaries as required by management
- Ensure confidentiality and security of financial and company data
- Coordinate with internal teams to collect and update required information
Requirements:
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Good typing speed with high accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of accounts/finance (preferred)
- Ability to handle repetitive tasks with consistency and focus
- Honest, reliable, and able to meet deadlines
