About the Role
We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and experienced Botany Faculty to join our Academic Team in Coimbatore. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Botany instruction to students preparing for competitive entrance examinations, particularly NEET, while ensuring strong conceptual understanding, effective exam preparation, and consistent academic performance.
The ideal candidate should have strong subject expertise, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to simplify complex concepts for students at different levels of understanding. Experience in NEET/JEE coaching or competitive examination training will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and concept-oriented Botany classes for NEET and other competitive examination aspirants.
Develop students' conceptual understanding of Botany and strengthen their problem-solving and analytical skills.
Prepare and deliver high-quality lectures, study materials, presentations, notes, and revision resources.
Explain complex biological concepts in a simple, structured, and student-friendly manner.
Guide students in understanding the NEET syllabus, examination pattern, and important topics.
Conduct regular tests, assessments, revision sessions, and doubt-clearing classes.
Analyze students' academic performance and provide appropriate feedback and improvement strategies.
Identify students' learning gaps and provide personalized academic support wherever required.
Prepare students to effectively handle NEET-level questions, including NCERT-based and application-oriented questions.
Ensure thorough coverage of the prescribed syllabus within the academic schedule.
Stay updated with changes in the NEET examination pattern, syllabus, and relevant academic developments.
Collaborate with the academic team to develop and improve curriculum, lesson plans, question banks, and test series.
Participate in academic meetings, faculty training programs, student mentoring, and other institutional activities.
Maintain a positive, disciplined, and motivating learning environment.
Support students with academic mentoring and examination-oriented guidance.
Contribute to both offline and online academic programs, as required.
Online Teaching Responsibilities
Conduct effective online lectures using digital teaching platforms and virtual classroom tools.
Deliver interactive and engaging online sessions while maintaining student participation and attention.
Use digital presentations, whiteboards, diagrams, animations, and other educational resources effectively.
Record academic content and video lectures when required.
Provide online doubt-clearing sessions and academic support to students.
Proficiency in online teaching and digital lecturing will be an added advantage.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience in Botany.
Prior experience in NEET/JEE coaching institutes or competitive examination training is highly preferred.
Strong command of Botany concepts and the ability to teach students effectively.
Tamil language proficiency is mandatory.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with academic and management teams.
Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
Willingness to work according to the academic schedule and institutional requirements.
Educational Qualifications
Candidates with any of the following qualifications may be considered, subject to relevant subject expertise and teaching experience:
M.Sc. in Botany
Ph.D. in Botany / Life Sciences or relevant discipline
MBBS
B.Tech with relevant subject expertise
Candidates with a strong academic background and proven experience in NEET-oriented Biology/Botany teaching will be preferred.
