Job Description
We are looking for an Export Pricing Specialist with hands-on experience in Air & Sea Freight Pricing within the Freight Forwarding industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle export pricing for Air & Sea freight.
- Obtain, compare and negotiate rates with airlines, shipping lines, NVOCCs and overseas agents.
- Prepare accurate freight quotations based on buying rates, applicable charges and profit margins.
- Handle spot and contract rates and maintain rate validity.
- Manage Air Export pricing for direct and consolidated shipments, including airline rates, routing and surcharges.
- Manage Sea Export pricing for FCL/LCL shipments, including shipping line/NVOCC rates and local charges.
- Calculate costing, selling rates and profit margins.
- Maintain updated rate sheets and pricing records.
- Provide quick pricing support for urgent/spot quotation requests.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, carriers and overseas agents.
Requirements
- 3–9 years of experience in Freight Forwarding.
- Strong hands-on experience in Export Pricing.
- Experience in both Air and Sea Freight Pricing is essential.
- Good knowledge of international freight rates, carrier tariffs and trade lanes.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and analytical skills.
- Experience with FCL/LCL, airline/shipping line rates and NVOCC rates.
- Candidates with exposure to China/Far East, Middle East, Europe/UK, USA/Canada, Australia/NZ, Africa or Southeast Asia will be preferred.
Working Hours & Employee Benefits
- Monday to Friday: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- 2nd & 4th Saturday: Weekly off
- Sunday: Weekly off
- Work From Home: 1 day per month
- Annual Leave: 20 days per year
- Paid Holidays: 14 days per year
- Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹55,000 per month
