Production Design & Development Specialist
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Design & Development Specialist with 6–8 years of experience in digital design, custom fabrication, and production development. This role requires someone who is both technically proficient and creatively driven, capable of transforming complex concepts into production-ready designs.
A strong portfolio demonstrating technical drawings, CAD models, and completed fabricated projects is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, fabrication drawings, and production documentation.
- Translate concept designs into accurate, manufacturable solutions.
- Prepare models for 3D printing, including mesh repair, model optimization, and splitting large parts into efficient printable sections.
- Design with fabrication in mind, considering materials, assembly, structural requirements, and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and fabrication teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Support production throughout fabrication, assembly, and installation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Expert proficiency in Rhinoceros (Rhino) is required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software is a plus.
- 6–8 years of experience in custom fabrication, exhibits, themed entertainment, industrial design, architecture, or related industries.
- Experience with 3D printing, digital fabrication workflows, EPS foam, mold making, CNC, and fabrication techniques.
- Strong understanding of organic modeling, material properties, fabrication methods, and basic structural design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Portfolio required. Applications should include examples of technical drawings and completed fabrication projects demonstrating both creative and technical capabilities.
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
