Requirement
We are seeking a skilled UI and Automation QA Engineer with 2-5 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing, automation, and adherence to best practices
Responsibilities
- Apply proficiency in various QA methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall, aligning with the company's development process
- Utilize QA testing tools and frameworks, including test management and defect tracking systems like JIRA and TestRail
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand requirements, create detailed test plans, and define test objectives, strategies, and timelines
- Execute functional, regression, and performance testing of software applications to identify issues
- Identify, document, and manage software defects throughout their lifecycle, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution
- Stay current with industry best practices and QA methodologies, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance the overall quality assurance process
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members, fostering a culture of quality within the team
- Coordinate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to guarantee high product quality and timely releases
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong documentation skills for creating thorough test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports
- Basic knowledge of SQL and NoSQL and the ability to perform database testing by writing and executing SQL/NoSQL queries for data validation
- Hands on experience on writing and checking unit tests and end to end test scripts using Jasmine, Cucumber, Selenium etc.
- Hands on experience on understanding HTML & CSS elements
- Efficient time management and prioritization skills to meet project deadlines
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving abilities Educational Qualification
- Any bachelor's or master's degree with a technical background is preferable
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com is an added advantage
Terms
- The candidate must be ready to work in any shift and employment service agreement of 2.5 years
