Core Responsibilities
- Guest Services & Communication: Welcome guests, handle check-ins/check-outs, and respond to phone or in-person inquiries regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and room rates.
- Reservations & Room Management: Manage room assignments, update booking statuses, and maximize occupancy in the Property Management System (PMS).
- Billing & Cashiering: Process payments, verify credit card authorizations, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions and daily cash drawers.
- Problem Resolution: Listen to guest complaints or requests, de-escalate stressful situations, and take prompt action to resolve issues.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with the housekeeping team for room readiness, the concierge/bell desk for luggage and transportation, and sales for group bookings. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8]
Typical Requirements & Qualifications
- Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality/hotel management degrees or prior customer service experience are highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in a Hotel Property Management System (PMS) and basic Microsoft Office applications.
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
