We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer with strong expertise in 3D modelling using Creo. The candidate will be responsible for converting 2D drawings into accurate 3D models and developing detailed technical drawings aligned with manufacturing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create precise 3D models using Creo based on 2D drawings and design inputs
- Interpret and understand weldment, part, and assembly drawings in 2D
- Convert 2D drawings into detailed and manufacturable 3D models
- Prepare technical drawings with proper dimensions, tolerances, and specifications
- Apply knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes while designing components
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure design feasibility
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and project requirements
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Creo (3D modelling)
- Strong ability to read and interpret 2D engineering drawings
- Good understanding of weldments, assemblies, and part drawings
- Knowledge of machining processes and manufacturing techniques
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills (Optional):
- Experience in sheet metal design or fabrication drawings
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Basic knowledge of other CAD tools is an advantage
Qualification:
- Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
