To support our aggressive organic growth strategies, we are looking for a results-driven Freelance Link Building & Citation Specialist to scale our off-page authority.
Role Overview
We are seeking an off-page SEO expert who specializes in acquiring high-quality backlink profiles and building clean, consistent local directory footprints. You will be responsible for running outreach campaigns, securing white-hat guest posts/niche edits, and executing meticulous local citation building to push our clients to the top of Google’s organic rankings and local Map Packs.
Key Responsibilities
- Link Prospecting & Outreach: Find, vet, and build lists of high-authority websites relevant to our clients' industries using Semrush, Ahrefs, and advanced search operators.
- Campaign Execution: Run personalized outreach campaigns to webmasters, editors, and bloggers to secure contextual backlinks, guest posts, and resource page links.
- Local Citation Building: Identify, submit to, and manage placements on high-quality business directories, regional portals, and map networks to enhance local SEO.
- NAP Consistency Audits: Audit existing web citations to identify and correct mismatched Name, Address, and Phone number (NAP) data across the web.
- Quality Control: Strictly avoid black-hat PBNs, spammy directories, and low-quality link farms. Ensure all acquired links have genuine traffic and clean backlink profiles.
- Tracking & Reporting: Maintain transparent tracking sheets documenting every link pitched, acquired, anchor text used, and citation launched for monthly client reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven Track Record: Minimum 2 years of dedicated experience specializing in off-page SEO, link building, and local citation deployment.
- Tool Stack: Strong familiarity with Semrush, Ahrefs, Buzzstream, Hunter.io, or equivalent outreach and SEO tools.
- Negotiation & Communication: Excellent English written communication skills for writing high-conversion outreach emails that webmasters actually respond to.
- Data-Driven: Deep understanding of trust metrics (Domain Authority, Domain Rating, Page Authority) and anchor text distribution strategies.
Pay: ₹300.00 - ₹1,500.00 per hour
