Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and energetic Dance Teacher for our school located at Ringus, Rajasthan. The candidate should be able to train students in dance, prepare performances for school events, and help students develop confidence, rhythm, body coordination, and stage presentation skills.
The Dance Teacher will be responsible for conducting regular dance classes, preparing students for cultural programs, competitions, annual functions, and other school activities.
Qualification Required
- Diploma / Degree / Certificate course in Dance from a recognized institute preferred
- Training in Classical, Folk, Western, Contemporary, Bollywood, or Creative Dance forms will be preferred
- Prior experience as a dance teacher/instructor in a school, academy, or cultural institution will be an added advantage
- Freshers with strong dance skills, confidence, and teaching ability may also apply
- Basic understanding of handling school students is preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular dance classes for students as per school schedule
- Teach basic and advanced dance steps, rhythm, expressions, coordination, and stage presence
- Prepare students for annual day, cultural events, competitions, assemblies, and special programs
- Choreograph dance performances suitable for different age groups
- Encourage student participation and build confidence among students
- Maintain discipline and safety during dance practice sessions
- Select appropriate songs, themes, and performances as per school guidelines
- Coordinate with teachers and school administration for events and rehearsals
- Identify talented students and guide them for competitions and performances
- Support other school activities whenever required
