Job Summary
SCISM Group of Schools is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and qualified English Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing students' English language proficiency, communication skills, grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing abilities, and appreciation of literature while creating an engaging and positive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, worksheets, assessments, and examination materials.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain student records, progress reports, and academic documentation.
- Foster critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication skills among students.
- Conduct classroom activities, debates, presentations, and literary events.
- Support students in improving spoken and written English proficiency.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and school events.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in English or a related field.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Teaching experience in CBSE/Matriculation schools preferred.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for teaching and student development.
