Job Title: Quality Control Engineer – CNC Department

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Engineer to join our CNC machining department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting machined components, ensuring product quality, maintaining quality records, and working closely with production teams to meet customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform in-process and final inspection of CNC machined components.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
* Use measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and dial indicators.
* Ensure products meet customer quality standards and tolerances.
* Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and support corrective actions.
* Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality documentation.
* Coordinate with production, machining, and maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.
* Support internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
* Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* 1–2 years of experience in quality control within a CNC machining/manufacturing environment.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
* Knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and 8D methodology is added advantage.
* Experience in automotive or precision machining industries.
