Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Civil Engineer to handle execution and supervision of government contract works at site. The candidate will be responsible for site management, planning, coordination with supervisors and labour teams, execution as per drawings and specifications, estimation, and ensuring timely completion of work while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day site execution and civil construction activities.
- Supervise and monitor project works at site.
- Guide, instruct, and coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and labour teams.
- Prepare work schedules and execute work planning as per project timelines.
- Conduct labour planning and ensure optimum utilization of manpower.
- Study and analyze drawings, BOQ, specifications, and technical documents.
- Ensure work execution as per approved drawings and quality standards.
- Coordinate with consultants, department officials, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Maintain site records, measurements, progress reports, and daily work updates.
- Prepare estimates, quantity calculations, and material requirements.
- Monitor material consumption and site inventory.
- Ensure proper safety practices and housekeeping at site.
- Resolve technical and site-related issues efficiently.
- Verify contractor bills and labour work measurements whenever required.
- Assist management in project planning, costing, and execution strategy.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of civil construction and site execution.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and BOQ.
- Good labour handling and team management skills.
- Knowledge of estimation, quantity surveying, and material calculations.
- Familiarity with government project procedures and documentation preferred.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project reporting.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under deadlines and site pressure.
Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience
- 2–8 years of relevant experience in civil construction and site handling.
- Experience in government projects will be preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Candidate should be willing to travel between project sites if required.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving approach preferred.
Salary
As per experience and company standards.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
