Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced, leadership-driven Nursing Superintendent to oversee and manage our entire nursing department in alignment with our NABH standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest quality of patient care, managing nursing staff workflows, and ensuring strict compliance with accreditation protocols. Key Responsibilities:
- NABH & Statutory Compliance: Maintain, update, and implement nursing protocols in strict accordance with NABH guidelines. Monitor and audit nursing documentation, infection control measures, patient safety goals, and biomedical waste management to ensure 100% compliance during reviews.
- Nursing Administration: Supervise, direct, and coordinate the activities of all nursing staff (Staff Nurses, Ward In-charges, and support staff). Prepare duty rosters, manage shift allocations, and ensure adequate staffing across all departments, ICUs, and wards.
- Quality of Patient Care: Monitor clinical nursing practices to ensure they align with the hospital’s accredited policies. Drive compassionate, safe, and efficient patient-care delivery across the organization.
- Staff Training & Development: Identify training needs for the nursing team based on NABH quality indicators. Conduct standard induction programs for new joiners and organize regular continuing nursing education (CNE) and skill-development workshops.
- Inter-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate closely with Doctors, Administration, Pharmacy, Diagnostics, and Front Office teams to ensure seamless hospital operations and fluent patient movement.
- Grievance Redressal: Address and resolve patient or family complaints regarding nursing care promptly. Manage internal staff grievances to maintain a healthy, collaborative working environment.
- Inventory & Asset Management: Oversee the availability, calibration, and maintenance of essential medical equipment, emergency crash carts, drugs, and consumables in all areas to meet audit requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing or GNM with a Diploma in Nursing Administration. Must have a valid registration with the State Nursing Council.
- Experience: 5 to 8+ years of total clinical experience, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership/supervisory role (such as Deputy Nursing Superintendent, Nursing Supervisor, or Ward In-charge). Prior experience working in an NABH-accredited hospital is preferable.
- Skills: Proficient understanding of NABH hospital dynamics, strong leadership and team management abilities, excellent communication, conflict resolution capabilities, and proficiency in basic computer operations (Hospital Information Systems/MS Office).
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
