A Medical Representative (MR) is the key link between pharmaceutical/medical equipment companies and healthcare professionals. Their primary role is to promote and sell pharmaceutical products, educate doctors on drug usage, and drive sales targets while ensuring product availability at local chemists and hospitals.
Core Responsibilities
- Product Promotion: Detail the benefits, ingredients, usage, dosage, and potential side effects of medications to doctors, pharmacists, and hospital staff.
- Relationship Building: Schedule regular, in-person visits to build long-term, trusting relationships with healthcare providers.
- Sales & Targets: Achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas by persuading healthcare professionals to prescribe the company's medicines.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, identify market gaps, and gather feedback from physicians to report back to the marketing team.
- Sample Distribution: Distribute product samples, literature, and promotional materials in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed records of daily visits, sales metrics, and market trends, submitting regular reports to management.
Pay: ₹9,992.55 - ₹18,000.00 per month
