We are seeking a highly skilled Alloyed Plant Manager to direct all daily operations of our metal alloy manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for scaling up production capacity, maintaining strict metallurgical quality control, minimizing waste, and enforcing rigorous industrial safety protocols. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical knowledge of foundry operations, furnace management, and melt treatment techniques.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Furnace Operations
- Direct daily operations to achieve weekly and monthly alloy production targets.
- Oversee melting processes using induction or blast furnaces, ensuring correct material charging sequences.
- Implement melt treatments including fluxing, degassing, grain refinement, and dross removal.
- Manage raw materials and scrap sorting to maintain cost-effective batch preparations.
Quality Control & Metallurgy
- Enforce chemical compositions by monitoring real-time spectrometer analysis and correcting deviations.
- Maintain quality standards in alignment with ISO/IATF certifications and customer-specific alloy formulations.
- Execute root-cause analysis (CAPA) to drastically reduce casting rejections and internal waste.
Safety, Efficiency & Maintenance
- Uphold EHS compliance regarding hazardous foundry environments, high-temperature zones, and emission controls.
- Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives to optimize shop-floor layout, cycle times, and material handling.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance programs for heavy machinery, automated casting lines, and furnace linings.
Leadership & Administration
- Manage shop-floor staff, including supervisors, operators, lab technicians, and contract laborers.
- Control plant budgets, tracking labor hours, energy expenditures, and capital equipment investments.
- Report performance metrics directly to executive management regarding output forecasts, yield, and financial variances.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
