Civil Engineer

Shree Builders & Developers is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to oversee civil construction projects from planning to execution. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent site management skills, and hands-on experience in billing, quantity estimation, AutoCAD drafting, and project coordination. The role requires close collaboration with clients, contractors, vendors, and site teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and as per quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at project sites.
- Prepare, review, and interpret 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), quantity take-offs, and project estimates.
- Handle client billing, contractor billing, and vendor billing accurately.
- Prepare and verify running bills, final bills, and work measurements.
- Conduct site measurements and ensure execution is as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, consultants, contractors, and site supervisors.
- Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and timelines.
- Plan and monitor material requirements and coordinate procurement.
- Maintain DPRs (Daily Progress Reports), site documentation, and project records.
- Ensure quality control and resolve technical issues during execution.
- Verify completed work before processing contractor or vendor payments.
- Coordinate with management regarding project updates, billing, material requirements, and execution status.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech/B.E. or Diploma in Civil Engineering).
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in civil construction and project execution.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D Drafting).
- Strong knowledge of billing, BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, and rate analysis.
- Experience in preparing contractor and client bills.
- Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and site execution.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and project documentation.
- Strong communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in residential, commercial, and interior fit-out projects.
- Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and cost control.
- Familiarity with government or private construction standards.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel for site visits.
