Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Engineer to provide installation, deployment, technical support, and maintenance for our SaaS-based hardware and software solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting customer installations, troubleshooting product-related issues, assisting customers remotely and on-site, and ensuring smooth operation of our solutions throughout their lifecycle.
This role requires strong technical aptitude, customer-focused communication skills, and a willingness to travel to customer locations for deployment, training, and support activities.
Key Responsibilities
· Install, configure, and commission company-provided hardware and SaaS software solutions at customer sites.
· Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, remote access, and on-site visits.
· Diagnose and resolve product-related hardware, software, configuration, and application issues.
· Configure and activate SaaS applications, user accounts, devices, and customer environments.
· Perform software upgrades, firmware updates, and product health checks.
· Coordinate with the Development and Product teams to resolve complex technical issues.
· Assist customers with onboarding, product usage, and basic operational training.
· Maintain service reports, installation records, support tickets, and customer documentation.
· Ensure timely issue resolution in accordance with internal service standards.
· Travel to customer locations for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and technical support whenever required.
Required Qualifications
Education
· B.Tech / B.E. / BCA / B.Sc. (Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field), OR
· Diploma in Computer Hardware, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Experience
· 1–3 years of experience in Technical Support, Product Support, Field Support, or Customer Support for hardware and software solutions.
· Freshers with strong technical aptitude and willingness to travel may also apply.
Required Technical Skills
· Good understanding of Windows operating systems and common software applications.
· Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot software applications and hardware devices.
· Basic understanding of cloud-based (SaaS) applications and web-based platforms.
· Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
· Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve product-related issues efficiently.
· Understanding of software installation, updates, licensing, and user management.
· Basic knowledge of firmware upgrades and device configuration.
· Experience with Interactive Flat Panel Displays (IFPDs), OPS devices, Android-based systems, or digital classroom solutions will be an added advantage.
