We are India's financial friend. We help salaried professionals get a better borrowing experience, with clarity, dignity, and zero jargon. No 47-page loan agreements you cannot read. No hidden charges that show up on month three. No agents calling you ten times a day. Just a cleaner, simpler way to borrow. We are building a brand that salaried Indians actually trust with their money, which means our content has to actually mean something. No fluff, no fear-mongering, no copy-paste finance posts.
The role
You will own the content engine. That means ideating, shooting, writing, editing, posting, and then digging into the numbers to figure out what worked and what flopped. Specifically:
Be on camera. A big chunk of our content is short-form video for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn. You will be in front of the camera explaining financial concepts, breaking down loan myths, doing trends, and putting a human face on the brand. If the idea of being on screen makes you uncomfortable, this role is not for you.
Ideate and produce end-to-end. Come up with content ideas tied to salaried life, borrowing decisions, product launches, and trending topics. Write the script. Shoot it. Edit it (or work with our designer). Ship it. We move fast and we do not wait two weeks for one reel.
Run founder LinkedIn. Our founders need a real, consistent voice on LinkedIn. You will ghost-write posts, ideate hooks, manage the content calendar, and make sure their pages do not look like every other CEO posting Steve Jobs quotes.
Run the CreditMitra Showcase Page and brand handles. Plan calendars, write captions, brief design, schedule, and post across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X.
Actually look at the data. Every week, you will pull what worked, what did not, and why. You will A/B test hooks, formats, and CTAs. Content that gets posted and never measured is content we will not keep doing.
Who do we need
- Someone who lives on the internet. You know what is trending on Reels before it goes mainstream. You can spot a good hook in three seconds. You watch other brands' content and instinctively know why it worked.
- Someone who can write. Captions, scripts, LinkedIn posts, hooks. Clear, simple, and not stuffed with corporate filler.
- Someone who is comfortable on camera. Not a performer, not an actor, just someone who can talk to a phone like they are talking to a friend.
- Someone who is curious about finance. You do not need to know what an EMI moratorium is on day one, but you need to want to learn. Our audience trusts us with real money decisions, so the bar for accuracy is high.
- Someone who likes the office. We are building a small, in-person team in Hyderabad because content moves faster when you can shoot, review, and reshoot in the same hour. If you want a remote job, we are not it.
Nice to have qualifications
- A YouTube channel, an Instagram page, a Substack, a Twitter account where you have actually built something, even if it is small. Show us what you have made
- Basic editing skills in CapCut, Premiere, or any tool of your choice.
- A point of view on Indian fintech, personal finance creators, or social media trends. We want to argue about content choices with you.
