Technical Project Manager – Linux & Windows
Location: Pune, MH or Gandhinagar, GJ
Experience: 12–18 years
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: VP Engineering, ATRI Solutions
About the Role
ATRI Solutions is hiring a hands-on Technical Project Manager to lead delivery across Everest's Linux and Windows engineering tracks. This is a working technical role, not a pure coordination role: you will be expected to go deep into Linux and Windows systems programming alongside the specialist teams, hold the line on design quality (patterns, OOAD, cloud-native architecture, distributed-systems correctness), and mentor engineers across both platforms while driving the program end to end.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end technical program delivery across Everest's Linux (KMD/UMD/edge-agent) and Windows (minifilter/user-mode services) tracks
- Stay hands-on: review and contribute to Linux systems-programming work (pthreads, IPC, shared memory, ring buffers) and Windows systems-programming work (.NET services, threading, kernel-adjacent design)
- Guide, mentor, and grow engineers across both platform teams; raise the bar on design and code quality
- Own architectural decision records (ADRs) and enforce consistent application of design patterns and OOAD principles across services
- Drive adoption of cloud-native design patterns (event-driven architecture, circuit breaker/retry-backoff, service decomposition, idempotent processing) for cloud tiering and replication pipelines
- Apply distributed-systems judgment to hard problems such as SQLite WAL cross-process contention, replication ordering, and multi-worker ownership
- Champion round-numbered RCA discipline and design-before-code practices; require live verification (strace/dmesg/journalctl/WinDbg) before any fix is declared complete
- Coordinate release planning, risk management, and cross-team prioritization with QA, DevOps, and product stakeholders
- Translate architecture tradeoffs into business terms for leadership and customer-facing conversations
Mandatory Skills
Must-Have
- 12–18 years of overall engineering experience, including demonstrated technical leadership
- Hands-on Linux systems programming experience (C, pthreads, IPC, shared memory/ring buffers) — mandatory
- Hands-on Windows systems programming experience (C#/.NET or C++, Windows services/threading) — mandatory
- Proven ability to guide, mentor, and grow engineers across multiple platform teams
- Strong knowledge of design patterns and Object-Oriented Analysis & Design (OOAD)
- Working knowledge of cloud-native design patterns (event-driven architecture, circuit breaker/retry, service decomposition)
- Solid grounding in distributed-systems concepts: consistency, concurrency, cross-process/cross-node coordination
- Technical project/program management experience — planning, risk management, cross-team coordination
Nice-to-Have Skills
Good-to-Have
- Working familiarity with both Linux kernel-mode (LKM/VFS) and Windows kernel-mode (minifilter/WDK) concepts
- Domain experience in video surveillance, VMS, or storage-tiering platforms
- Experience with SQLite or other embedded-database concurrency challenges
- Exposure to Agile/SAFe program management and RTM/CI pipeline ownership
