Summary:
As an AI / ML Engineer, a typical day involves designing and building advanced applications and systems that leverage artificial intelligence technologies and cloud-based AI services. The role requires integrating these solutions into robust application pipelines that are ready for production environments, whether deployed on cloud platforms or on-premises. The engineer applies generative AI models and explores various AI domains such as deep learning, neural networks, conversational agents, and image analysis to create innovative and efficient solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and continuous refinement of AI-driven applications are key aspects of the daily workflow.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of AI-driven projects ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to foster professional growth.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and assisting in problem-solving activities.
- Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning, ART Sync, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops across 5–10 Scrum teams.
- Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Business Owners on Lean-Agile principles and SAFe practices.
- Identify, track, and remove program-level risks, dependencies, and systemic impediments escalate blockers beyond single-team control.
- Partner with Product Management and System Architects on feature prioritization, architecture runway, and release planning.
- Drive program-level metrics — predictability, flow, quality — and champion continuous improvement and agile maturity.
- Manage stakeholder communication across business, engineering, and offshore delivery teams.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Agile Project Management.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and iterative development processes.
- Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver complex AI and machine learning projects.
- Ability to manage timelines, resources, and risks effectively within dynamic environments.
- Skilled in communication and stakeholder management to ensure project alignment and transparency.
- Competence in utilizing project management tools and techniques to track progress and outcomes.
- Must-have skills: Agile project management, Program Increment (PI) planning, SAFe/Scrum/Kanban expertise, strong facilitation and conflict resolution, Jira and Azure DevOps, stakeholder and vendor management. SAFe RTE / SPC certification preferred.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Agile Project Management.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
- Experience: 10–14 years in Agile delivery, with at least 3 years at RTE / program level in multi-team, multi-geo environments.
