Job Description – Academic Counsellor
Location: Ernakulam, Kochi, Kerala
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month + Incentives

Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate and result-oriented Academic Counsellor to guide prospective students and help them choose the right educational programs. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong convincing abilities, and a customer-focused approach to drive student admissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, programs, and career opportunities.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, follow up on leads, and convert inquiries into admissions.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable courses.
- Provide accurate information about course details, fees, admission procedures, and career prospects.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective students to maximize conversions.
- Achieve monthly admission and enrollment targets.
- Maintain student records and update CRM systems regularly.
- Coordinate with the admissions and marketing teams to ensure a smooth enrollment process.
- Participate in educational events, seminars, and promotional activities when required.
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in Academic Counselling, Student Counselling, Telecalling, Sales, or Customer Relationship Management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Malayalam.
- Strong convincing, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with students and parents.
- Target-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving results.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.

- Experience in the Education, EdTech, or Training Industry.
- Strong presentation and counseling abilities.
- Positive attitude and customer-centric approach.
