Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Manager / Head Accountant to lead the Finance & Accounts function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, statutory compliance, taxation, audits, budgeting, cash flow management, and leading the accounting team while ensuring strong financial controls and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely book closure and management reporting.
- Monitor General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
Taxation & Compliance
- Manage direct and indirect tax compliances including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Ensure timely filing of returns and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Liaise with tax consultants and regulatory authorities.
Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate and manage statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits.
- Implement and monitor internal financial controls.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
- Analyze financial performance and provide variance analysis.
- Support management in strategic financial planning and decision-making.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships.
- Manage fund utilization and liquidity planning.
- Oversee payment approvals and financial risk management.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the accounts and finance team.
- Establish performance standards and ensure continuous development.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
MIS & Business Support
- Prepare management reports and dashboards.
- Provide financial insights to support business growth and profitability.
- Assist leadership in evaluating investments, projects, and business opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification preferred.
- 8–15+ years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and statutory compliance.
- Experience handling audits, financial reporting, and tax matters independently.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally, or similar platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
