About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Law Student to join our legal team. In this role, you will work closely with senior attorneys and real estate professionals to support property transactions, conduct thorough legal due diligence, and ensure statutory compliance. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in real estate law and contract analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on property laws, land use issues, and zoning regulations.
- Documentation & Drafting: Assist in drafting and reviewing various real estate documents, including purchase agreements, lease agreements, title opinions, and deeds.
- Due Diligence: Support due diligence efforts by examining title chains, ownership records, and verifying encumbrances or undisclosed liens.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with local property laws and industry-specific regulations (e.g., Real Estate Regulation and Development Act [RERA] matters).
- Document Management: Systematically organize and manage confidential legal files, correspondence, and transaction records.
- Case Support: Prepare legal memorandums, red-flag reports, and summaries of case files or previous judgments.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Currently enrolled in a recognized 3-year or 5-year law degree program (JD or equivalent).
- Knowledge Base: Fundamental understanding of property law principles, contract law, and local zoning regulations.
- Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research databases.
- Attributes: High attention to detail, ethical conduct, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹10,223.76 per month
