Key Responsibilities:
- Fire Pumps & Hydrant Systems:
- Perform regular maintenance, testing, and inspections of fire pumps and fire hydrants to ensure operational reliability.
- Troubleshoot and rectify issues with water pressure or pump performance.
- Conduct periodic hydrant flow tests and maintain compliance records.
- Fire Alarm Systems:
- Inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm control panels (FACP) and associated detection systems.
- Ensure alarm systems are functional and address faults promptly.
- Maintain system updates and coordinate with vendors for upgrades or repairs.
- Fire Extinguishers:
- Oversee the inspection, refilling, and replacement of fire extinguishers across the facility.
- Ensure proper placement and readiness of extinguishers as per National Building Code (NBC), Indian standards.
- Train staff on the correct usage of extinguishers.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure adherence to Fire NOC requirements, Good Engineering Practices, and applicable Fire Standards.
- Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions for audits and regulatory compliance.
- Support in obtaining and renewing Fire NOCs as required.
- Fire Safety Standards:
- Implement and uphold Good Engineering Practices (GEP) in fire system design and maintenance.
- Stay updated on the National Building Code (NBC), NFPA, and other relevant fire safety regulations.
- Integrate fire safety measures into overall facility design and emergency planning.
- Emergency Preparedness and Response:
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating fire emergency response plans.
- Participate in and lead fire drills, providing actionable feedback for improvement.
- Act as a technical advisor during fire incidents or investigations.
- Training and Coordination:
- Collaborate with safety teams to integrate fire safety into broader safety initiatives.
- Conduct regular training sessions for employees on fire safety practices and emergency response.
Pay: ₹11,026.86 - ₹43,537.70 per month
