1. JOB SUMMARY
The Event Videographer is responsible for capturing high-quality video footage during shoots,events. Ensuring all key moments are recorded creatively and professionally. The role includes shooting, basic direction, and sometimes editing content to deliver engaging final videos aligned with client expectations.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Capture video footage of events such as weddings, corporate functions, concerts, and social gatherings
- Plan shots and angles based on event flow and client requirements
- Coordinate with photographers, event managers, and clients for smooth coverage
- Set up and operate video equipment (cameras, tripods, gimbals, lighting, microphones)
- Ensure proper lighting, audio quality, and framing during recording
- Record key moments (ceremonies, speeches, performances, candid shots, crowd interactions)
- Manage and safeguard all recorded footage
3. PRE-EVENT DUTIES
- Understand client requirements and event schedule
- Conduct site inspection if required
- Prepare equipment checklist and ensure all gear is functional
- Discuss creative direction and deliverables with team/client
4. POST-PRODUCTION (if applicable)
- Edit raw footage into final videos (highlights, reels, full-length videos)
- Add music, sound effects, transitions, and color correction
- Deliver videos within agreed timelines
- Make revisions based on client feedback
5. SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency in operating DSLR/Mirrorless cameras and video equipment
- Knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
- Understanding of lighting, framing, and storytelling techniques
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Creativity and attention to detail
6. EXPERIENCE
- Experienced in event videography preferred
- Portfolio of previous work is required
7. WORKING CONDITIONS
- Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends
- Long hours during events may be required
- Travel to event locations as needed
