Position: Website Designer / Web Developer
Technia Institute of Advanced Studies (TIAS), a premier institution affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi, invites applications from dynamic, creative, and experienced professionals for the position of Website Designer / Web Developer.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the Institute's official website.
- Ensure a modern, responsive, user-friendly, and accessible website interface.
- Update website content regularly in coordination with various departments.
- Develop dedicated webpages for Admissions, Academics, Research, IQAC, NAAC, NIRF, Training & Placement, Examination, Events, Alumni, and Student Services.
- Ensure compliance with AICTE, UGC, GGSIPU, and NAAC website disclosure requirements.
- Integrate online admission forms, ERP, payment gateways, and other institutional applications.
- Optimize website performance, SEO, security, and mobile responsiveness.
- Manage website hosting, backups, SSL certificates, and domain administration.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for timely updates and digital initiatives.
Essential Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
- Relevant certifications in UI/UX Design, WordPress, Web Development, or Digital Design will be preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in website design and development.
- Experience in developing and maintaining websites for educational institutions, universities, or corporate organizations is desirable.
Technical Skills
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap
- WordPress CMS (Theme & Plugin Customization)
- PHP & MySQL
- UI/UX Design
- Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent design tools
- Responsive Web Design
- Basic SEO and Google Analytics
- Website Security, Performance Optimization, and Backup Management
