3. Job Description — Business Development Manager - Sales
Role Purpose
Drive revenue growth for ViTWO's Virtual CFO Services, and vitwo.ai by acquiring and nurturing MSME and start-up clients, positioning ViTWO as their trusted outsourced finance partner.
Key Responsibilities / KRAs
● Own the end-to-end B2B sales pipeline for ViTWO's Virtual CFO Services, Claimz HRMS, and vitwo.ai across MSME and start-up clients.
● Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue and new-client acquisition targets as defined by the Head–Sales.
● Build and manage a structured pipeline: lead generation, qualification, consultative pitch, proposal, negotiation, and closure.
● Develop relationships with founders, CFOs, and finance decision-makers in the MSME/start-up ecosystem across manufacturing, retail, and services sectors.
● Represent ViTWO at industry events, MSME summits, and networking forums (e.g. Bengaluru Tech Summit, Business & Beyond-type platforms) to generate leads.
● Collaborate with the Delivery and Compliance teams to ensure smooth client handover post-sale.
● Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasts in the CRM/ATS-linked sales tracker.
● Mentor and, over time, help build a junior sales/BD team as the vertical scales.
Must-Have Requirements
● 5 to 8 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in financial services, SaaS, fintech, HRMS, or professional/consulting services.
● Demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets (quantifiable numbers expected in resume/interview).
● Strong consultative and solution-selling ability — comfortable explaining financial/compliance concepts to non-finance founders.
● Excellent verbal and written communication in English (Bengali/Hindi an advantage for the Kolkata/East India market).
● Working knowledge of CRM tools (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and MS Excel/PowerPoint.
● Graduate in any discipline; MBA (Sales/Marketing/Finance) preferred but not mandatory.
Good-to-Have
● Prior experience selling to MSMEs, start-ups, or SMEs specifically.
● Existing network among founders/CFOs in Eastern India.
● Exposure to virtual CFO, accounting, compliance, or HRMS/payroll solution sales.
Compensation
Commensurate with the candidate's demonstrated know-how and last-drawn CTC — recommended structure: 70% fixed / 30% performance-linked variable (to be confirmed with Finance), plus standard statutory benefits (PF, gratuity, health insurance).
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
