About the Opportunity
We are hiring a Payroll & Compliance Manager for a reputed organization operating across India in the technical services and industrial solutions sector. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in end-to-end payroll processing, statutory compliance, labour law administration, and employee settlements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees across multiple locations in India.
- Perform payroll calculations based on attendance, leave records, incentives, deductions, and salary structures.
- Ensure accurate processing of salaries, reimbursements, statutory deductions, and tax components.
- Handle Full & Final (F&F) settlements, gratuity calculations, recoveries, and exit formalities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations including PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, TDS, Bonus, and Gratuity.
- Coordinate with external consultants and government authorities for compliance-related activities.
- Prepare and maintain payroll records, MIS reports, and audit documentation.
- Address employee queries related to payroll, taxation, and statutory benefits.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Operations teams for payroll inputs and validations.
- Ensure adherence to statutory timelines and internal policies.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Indian payroll processes and labour laws.
- Hands-on experience in payroll management and statutory compliance.
- Expertise in PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, TDS, Bonus, Gratuity, and labour law compliance.
- Experience in handling Full & Final settlements independently.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Experience working on payroll software/HRMS platforms.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Qualification
- Graduate in Commerce, HR, Finance, or related field.
- MBA (HR/Finance) preferred.
- Payroll or Compliance certifications will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience handling PAN India payroll operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
