We build long-endurance, fixed-wing UAVs and run a continuous flight-test campaign. We need a hands-on flight testing technician to support daily flight operations, prepare and maintain aircraft, troubleshoot issues, and ensure every test sortie is executed safely and reliably.
You'll work closely with UAV pilots and the engineering team across multiple airframes and field test sites.
Perform pre-flight and post-flight checks across airframe, propulsion and avionics
Assist with aircraft assembly, launch, recovery, and ground handling
Support flight-test operations and ground-station activities
Troubleshoot mechanical, and avionics issues at the field
Perform basic repairs, part replacements and soldering work
Maintain clear test logs, checklists, and aircraft records
Assist engineers and pilots in executing flight-test procedures
Hands-on experience working with UAVs, RC aircraft, drones, or similar systems
Comfortable with basic mechanical and electrical work
Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues independently in the field
Comfortable using hand tools, multimeters, soldering equipment, etc.
Should know a local language - Kannada
Willingness to travel to and stay at field test sites
Fixed-wing UAV experience
Familiarity with Mission Planner / ArduPilot
Basic understanding of flight controllers, telemetry, ESCs, motors, servos, and power systems
Knows to drive car
