Job Summary
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Primary Teacher to educate and nurture young learners. The ideal candidate will have strong foundational teaching skills, a child-friendly approach, and the ability to create an engaging and supportive classroom environment that promotes holistic development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Development & Foundation Building
- Teach primary grade students as per the school curriculum.
- Focus on building strong foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and basic concepts.
- Encourage curiosity, creativity, and active participation in learning.
- Provide individual attention to students to support their academic growth.
2. Lesson Planning & Delivery
- Develop age-appropriate and engaging lesson plans.
- Use interactive teaching methods, including storytelling, activities, and visual aids.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Conduct regular revision and reinforcement of concepts.
3. Assessment & Progress Tracking
- Conduct periodic assessments, class activities, and worksheets.
- Monitor student progress and identify learning gaps.
- Maintain records of student performance and development.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
4. Student Care & Mentoring
- Foster emotional, social, and behavioral development of students.
- Build strong relationships with students to ensure a safe learning environment.
- Encourage good habits, discipline, and values.
- Support students with different learning needs.
5. Parent Communication & Coordination
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events.
- Collaborate with school staff for curriculum planning and activities.
- Ensure adherence to school policies and academic standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with D.Ed./B.Ed. (mandatory).
- 2–5 years of teaching experience in primary grades preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development and learning methods.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching and working with young children.
