Job Summary
OJD Education is looking for a responsible, punctual, hardworking, and disciplined Office Boy to support the smooth day-to-day operations of the office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining office cleanliness, assisting team members with routine office tasks, preparing and serving tea/refreshments, managing office supplies, and ensuring that the office remains organized, hygienic, and well-maintained at all times.
The candidate should be honest, well-mannered, physically fit, and committed to creating a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
Key Responsibilities1. Office Cleaning & Housekeeping
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the office premises at all times.
- Sweep, mop, dust, and clean workstations, cabins, meeting rooms, reception area, pantry, washrooms, and common areas.
- Ensure office furniture, equipment, glass doors, windows, and workspaces remain neat and clean.
- Empty dustbins regularly and dispose of waste properly.
- Ensure washrooms are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
2. Pantry & Refreshment Management
- Prepare and serve tea, coffee, water, and refreshments to employees, management, clients, and visitors.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pantry.
- Ensure tea, coffee, sugar, milk, drinking water, and pantry items are always available.
- Inform the HR/Admin Department whenever pantry stock needs replenishment.
3. Office Support & Assistance
- Assist employees and management with routine office-related tasks.
- Arrange meeting rooms before and after meetings.
- Handle photocopying, printing, scanning, filing, and movement of official documents whenever required.
- Receive, dispatch, and distribute courier parcels, letters, and official documents.
- Assist HR and Administration in day-to-day office operations.
- Support all departments whenever assistance is required.
4. Office Opening & Closing Responsibilities
- Reach the office on time every working day.
- Open the office before working hours and ensure it is clean and ready before employees arrive.
- Ensure meeting rooms and workstations are properly arranged at the beginning of the day.
- At the end of the day, ensure lights, fans, air conditioners, and other electrical appliances are switched off (where applicable).
- Ensure office doors and windows are properly secured before leaving, as instructed by the management.
5. Office Supervision & Maintenance
- Take responsibility for the overall upkeep and supervision of the office premises.
- Regularly inspect the office and immediately report any maintenance issues, electrical faults, plumbing problems, or damaged equipment to the HR/Admin Department.
- Ensure office furniture and equipment are properly maintained.
- Monitor office stationery, cleaning materials, drinking water, and other essential supplies, and report shortages promptly.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment.
6. Visitor & Candidate Assistance
- Welcome visitors, clients, and interview candidates courteously.
- Guide visitors to the concerned department or employee.
- Inform the concerned employee immediately upon the arrival of visitors or candidates.
- Ensure visitors are treated respectfully and provided with basic assistance.
7. Outdoor & Miscellaneous Responsibilities
- Deposit or collect official documents, parcels, and other office-related items whenever assigned.
- Perform office-related outdoor tasks as directed by the management.
- Carry out any additional administrative or support duties assigned by the Director, HR Department, or reporting authority.
Professional Conduct
- Report to the office on time every working day.
- Maintain punctuality, honesty, discipline, and a positive attitude.
- Maintain a neat and clean personal appearance.
- Behave politely and respectfully with employees, clients, visitors, and guests.
- Follow all instructions given by the Director, HR Department, and reporting authority.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding company information and official matters.
- Do not leave the office premises during working hours without prior approval.
- Be available to assist the management and team members whenever required.
Eligibility
- Minimum Educational Qualification: Class 10th or Class 12th Pass.
- Freshers or candidates with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience are welcome to apply.
- Physically fit and capable of performing housekeeping and office support duties.
- Candidate should be a resident of Lucknow.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.

- Recent Passport Size Photographs.
- Address Proof.
Mandatory Requirements
- Must maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the office premises.
- Should report to the office on time every day.
- Must be honest, responsible, trustworthy, and disciplined.
- Should follow company rules, office discipline, and instructions from management.
- No smoking, tobacco consumption, or alcohol consumption during working hours or within the office premises.
- Should be willing to perform any office-related support work assigned by the management.
- Must take ownership of maintaining the office in a clean, organized, and presentable condition at all times.
