We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to lead our accounting operations. This role is responsible for closing the books on a monthly basis, managing tax filings, and ensuring the integrity of financial data. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, hold a CPA or equivalent certification, and be proficient in QuickBooks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and execute the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare, review, and submit financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Coordinate and support income and sales tax filings, including gathering necessary documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Maintain and improve internal accounting processes and controls.
- Support audit and year-end financial processes.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance (adjust as needed).
- Proficiency with QuickBooks is required.
- Experience in SaaS industry is required
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per month
