Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day fabrication and assembly activities at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have 2–3 years of experience in the fabrication or heavy engineering industry and possess strong leadership skills to ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Candidates with experience in industrial furnace and oven manufacturing will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily fabrication, welding, assembly, and installation activities.
- Plan and allocate manpower, machines, and materials to achieve production schedules.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure fabrication is carried out as per approved engineering drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with the Design, Purchase, Quality, and Project teams for smooth production flow.
- Maintain production records, work progress reports, and material consumption.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and good housekeeping practices.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
- Monitor subcontractor work, if applicable, and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Train and guide technicians, welders, fitters, and fabrication personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–6 years of experience in fabrication, heavy engineering, or industrial equipment manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication layouts.
- Good knowledge of welding, fabrication processes, assembly techniques, and quality requirements.
- Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and team management abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in industrial furnace and oven manufacturing.
- Knowledge of structural fabrication, sheet metal fabrication, insulation installation, and mechanical assembly.
- Familiarity with production planning, material management, and ERP systems.
- Understanding of quality standards and workplace safety practices.
