Job Description:
We are looking for a Purchase Executive to handle procurement activities for our electrical products and materials. The candidate will be responsible for vendor management, cost negotiation, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor sourcing, evaluation and maintaining vendor relationships
- Raising Purchase Orders and following up for timely delivery
- Negotiating prices, payment terms and contracts with suppliers
- Coordinating with warehouse and production for material requirements
- Maintaining records of quotations, invoices, and purchase
- MIS Market research for new suppliers and pricing of electrical materials
- Ensuring quality and compliance standards for all purchases
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in B.Com / BBA / Engineering preferred
- 1 to 3 years experience in Purchase/Procurement
- Experience in electrical/manufacturing industry preferred
- Knowledge of electrical materials and Chennai vendor market
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, ERP and Email
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
