Academic Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Art lessons in accordance with the Cambridge curriculum.
- Teach a wide range of artistic disciplines including:
- Drawing
- Painting
- Sculpture
- Printmaking
- Mixed Media
- Ceramics
- Digital Art (where applicable)
- Encourage creativity, experimentation, and individual artistic expression.
- Develop students' observational, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Integrate elements of art history and visual culture into classroom instruction.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the learning needs of all students.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and learning resources.
Assessment & Reporting
- Design and conduct formative and summative assessments.
- Evaluate students' practical work, sketchbooks, portfolios, and projects.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Prepare report cards and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Support students in developing portfolios where applicable.
Classroom Management
- Create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of art materials and equipment.
- Promote health and safety practices within the Art room.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Art studio.
Co-Curricular Responsibilities
- Organize:
- Art exhibitions
- Competitions
- Workshops
- Creative clubs
- School displays
- Encourage student participation in local, national, and international art competitions.
- Support school events through creative displays, stage decorations, and exhibitions.
Professional Responsibilities
- Participate in staff meetings, curriculum planning, and professional development programmes.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments for interdisciplinary learning.
- Stay updated with Cambridge assessment requirements and best teaching practices.
- Contribute positively to the overall development of the school community.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
