Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Site Installation Supervisor to oversee on-site installation activities for retail interiors, modular furniture, display units, and custom interior fit-out projects. The candidate will be responsible for supervising installation teams, ensuring timely project completion, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with project managers, production teams, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the installation of retail interiors, modular furniture, fixtures, display units, and customized furniture at client sites.
- Coordinate with the Production, Dispatch, and Project Management teams to ensure timely material delivery.
- Lead and manage installation technicians, carpenters, fabricators, and subcontractors.
- Ensure installation work is completed as per approved drawings and project specifications.
- Monitor project progress and submit daily installation reports.
- Conduct site measurements and verify readiness before installation.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and company installation procedures.
- Resolve on-site issues and coordinate with internal teams for quick solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Coordinate with clients, site engineers, architects, and contractors during installation.
- Inspect completed work and prepare snag lists for rectification before project handover.
- Manage tools, equipment, and materials efficiently to minimize wastage.
- Support final project handover and client satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of retail interior fit-out and furniture installation.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and layouts.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of site safety standards and installation best practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and project reporting.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma/B.E. in Civil, Mechanical, Interior Design, or a related field.
- ITI candidates with relevant installation experience may also apply.
Experience
- 3–10 years of experience in interior fit-out, retail projects, furniture manufacturing, or modular furniture installation.
- Experience handling multiple installation teams and retail projects is preferred.
