Job Summary
We are seeking a sharp, agile Export Coordinator to manage our international sales operations and logistics pipeline. In the fast-paced FMCG industry, timing is everything. You will be responsible for driving international sales support, managing complex export documentation, and ensuring total compliance with global food/product safety standards. Your goal is to guarantee that our high-volume shipments clear customs seamlessly and reach global retail networks without delay.
Key ResponsibilitiesInternational Sales & Client Management
- Process and manage high-volume international distributor and retail orders from initial inquiry to final delivery.
- Coordinate with internal production and sales teams to align order volumes with export inventory and shelf-life constraints.
- Act as the key liaison for international clients, providing updates on order status, transit tracking, and product availability.
FMCG Export Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare, audit, and execute critical export paperwork: Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading (B/L), and Letters of Credit (L/C).
- Manage specialized FMCG/Food documentation, including Phytosanitary Certificates, Certificates of Analysis (COA), Health Certificates, and FDA/customs compliance paperwork.
- Ensure strict adherence to global import regulations, including country-specific labeling laws, ingredient restrictions, and HS codes.
Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination
- Book and track international shipments (Air and Ocean freight) with a strong focus on transit time optimization to minimize product expiry risks.
- Coordinate closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and cold-chain/warehouse logistics providers.
- Proactively resolve customs holds, port delays, or shipping discrepancies to avoid product spoilage or retail penalties.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in export logistics and documentation, ideally within the FMCG, food & beverage, or consumer goods sector.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of Incoterms 2020, international payment methods, and international health/safety compliance regulations.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel for tracking large volumes of SKU data.
- Key Traits: High attention to detail (missing a single document can ruin a perishable shipment), the ability to work under tight deadlines, and excellent cross-cultural communication skills.
Pay: ₹13,293.27 - ₹35,000.00 per month
