Role Overview
As the Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for driving the performance of the direct-to-consumer sales team. Your focus will be on converting leads generated through the official website, managing high-value direct inquiries, and ensuring the team meets aggressive monthly targets. You will bridge the gap between digital lead generation and final revenue collection.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management & Mentoring: Lead, motivate, and monitor a team of Sales Executives (Direct/Telesales). Conduct daily morning huddles to set targets and end-of-day reviews.
- Conversion Optimization: Oversee the conversion of website leads, ensuring a rapid "lead-to-call" response time. Implement strategies to increase the closing ratio for high-end equipment like AC Motorized Treadmills and Home Gyms.
- Direct Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales pitches for the "UrbanTrek" and "JogPad" series, focusing on unique selling points (USPs) like app integration and space-saving designs.
- CRM Discipline: Ensure the team maintains 100% accuracy in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot). Track lead aging, follow-up schedules, and customer interaction history.
- Customer Relationship Management: Personally handle escalations or high-value "VIP" customers. Build long-term rapport with fitness enthusiasts and corporate clients.
- Performance Analytics: Prepare weekly and monthly sales forecasts. Analyze "lost leads" to identify gaps in product pricing, features, or team communication.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Logistics and Warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of sold equipment.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 4–6 years in Sales, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership/supervisory role. Experience in the fitness, wellness, or consumer durables industry is highly preferred.
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office (Excel is critical for reporting).
- Communication: Fluent in English and Hindi. Ability to explain technical specifications of fitness machinery clearly.
- Negotiation: Proven track record of closing high-ticket deals and handling complex customer objections.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Lead Conversion Rate: Percentage of website/direct leads converted to sales.
- Average Response Time: Speed at which the team contacts a new web inquiry.
- Customer Satisfaction Score: Post-installation feedback from direct sales customers.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
