Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day food and beverage operations.
- Ensure smooth restaurant opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor service standards and guest satisfaction at all times.
- Coordinate with kitchen and stewarding teams for seamless operations.
- Conduct daily staff briefings and shift handovers.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards are maintained.
- Monitor table setup, buffet displays, and service flow.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and ensure prompt resolution.
- Assist during special events, private dining, and banquets.
Team Management
- Supervise and motivate service associates.
- Train new employees on SOPs, grooming, and guest interaction.
- Prepare duty rosters and manage shift scheduling.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and grooming standards.
- Conduct on-the-job training and performance feedback sessions.
Inventory & Financial Control
- Monitor operating equipment and prevent breakage/loss.
- Assist in inventory management and stock control.
- Ensure proper billing and cash handling procedures.
- Support cost control initiatives and upselling strategies.
- Maintain records of daily sales and operational reports.
Health & Safety
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Follow HACCP and hotel safety procedures.
- Ensure staff follow sanitation and grooming standards.
- Report maintenance issues and safety hazards immediately.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Food & Beverage Service.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred in hotels, resorts, or fine dining restaurants.
