Role description
Mechanical development for new products, considering functionality, industrialization, and cost-effectiveness. Setting up and implementing analyses to verify the design at different stages of product development. Knowledge of drafting, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing in Creo Tolerance stack up analysis Knowledge of materials [polymers, sheet-metal, diecast] and related manufacturing processes. Knowledge on Automotive connectors for low voltage & high voltage applications Plastic design / Sheet metal design / diecast design knowledge Design for manufacturability Design for assembly - capability to understand and design assembly concepts for control units Perform Failure Mode Analysis (i.e. DFMEA). Knowledge on different joining technology [Screwing, soldering, Welding, gluing, ] will be added advantage Knowledge on PCB, electrical & electronic component will be added advantage
Mandatory: CREO tool, DRBFM basics , DFMEA, Tolerance stack-up
Advantage: Basics on power electronics, Complete product development lifecycle development experience, Experience / knowledge in new age technologies like Gen AI with proven examples of implementation in Mechanical functional domain
