Job Summary
The Billing Staff is responsible for preparing accurate patient bills, processing payments, maintaining billing records, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring compliance with hospital billing policies and procedures. The role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate inpatient and outpatient bills accurately and promptly.
- Verify patient details, treatment charges, investigations, pharmacy charges, and other billable services.
- Process cash, card, UPI, insurance, and corporate payments.
- Coordinate with nursing stations, pharmacy, laboratory, and other departments for billing updates.
- Handle patient and attendant billing queries professionally.
- Ensure timely discharge billing and settlement of accounts.
- Maintain billing records and documentation as per hospital policies.
- Assist in insurance and TPA-related billing processes.
- Prepare daily billing and collection reports.
- Reconcile billing transactions and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient and financial information.
- Follow hospital policies, statutory requirements, and billing procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Hospital Administration, or a related field.
- Freshers or candidates with 1–2 years of experience in hospital billing are preferred.
- Knowledge of hospital billing software and MS Office applications.
- Basic understanding of insurance and TPA billing processes is desirable.

Pay: ₹10,079.17 - ₹25,000.00 per month
