Job Summary
The Emergency Doctor is responsible for providing immediate medical care to patients in the emergency department. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and stabilizing patients with urgent medical conditions, coordinating with specialists, and ensuring timely treatment to save lives.
Key Responsibilities1. Patient Assessment & Treatment
- Examine and assess patients arriving in the emergency department.
- Diagnose medical conditions and provide immediate treatment.
- Stabilize critically ill or injured patients before further treatment or admission.
2. Emergency Procedures
- Perform emergency medical procedures such as CPR, wound care, trauma management, and emergency stabilization.
- Administer medications and treatments as required.
3. Coordination with Specialists
- Consult with specialists and refer patients for further treatment when required.
- Coordinate with nurses, technicians, and other hospital departments.
4. Documentation
- Maintain accurate patient records, treatment details, and emergency reports.
- Ensure proper documentation for medico-legal cases.
5. Patient & Family Communication
- Explain patient condition and treatment plan to family members.
- Provide guidance during emergency situations.
6. Emergency Department Management
- Ensure smooth functioning of emergency services.
- Follow hospital protocols and safety procedures.
Pay: From ₹110,000.00 per month
