2D Animator Needed for Kids YouTube Channel – Monthly Long-Term Work
We are looking for a talented 2D animator from India to work with us on a monthly basis for our kids' YouTube channel, Baal Buzz.
This is not a one-time project. We are looking for someone long-term.Think of it as a side gig. If we like the quality, communication, and delivery, we would love to continue working together every month.
The animation style should be close in quality and feel to preschool/kids content like Super Simple Songs, Numberblocks, and Peppa Pig. We are not looking to copy these shows, but we want a similar clean, bright, colorful, child-friendly, expressive, and professional look.
Work style:
This will be a monthly flat-rate position, not per video and not hourly. Video lengths may vary depending on the project. Some videos may be around 2–3 minutes, while others may be longer, around 5–15 minutes.
We will be using the same main characters again and again, so once the characters, rigs, poses, and style are set up, the workflow should become easier and more consistent over time.
What we need:
- 2D animation for children’s songs, stories, lullabies, and educational videos
- Smooth character movement and cute facial expressions
- Bright, colorful, toddler-friendly backgrounds
- Ability to reuse the same characters across multiple videos
- Good timing with music, lyrics, and storytelling
- Final video export ready for YouTube
- Consistent monthly work for a growing kids channel
Important requirements:
- Please share your portfolio or previous animation work.
- Your work should be close to the quality/style of preschool animation channels like Super Simple Songs, Numberblocks, or Peppa Pig.
- We will provide the characters, ideas, songs, and creative direction.
- All final animation, project files, characters, visuals, and related work must belong to us.
- You may not reuse, sell, share, or claim ownership of our characters, visuals, ideas, or final videos in the future.
- No copied characters, copyrighted designs, or reused templates.
- No AI-generated animation unless we approve it first.
- We prefer original animation created specifically for Baal Buzz.
Monthly budget:
Our starting monthly budget is ₹15,000–₹30,000 per month, depending on skill, quality, speed, experience, and how much work can be completed each month.
For a highly skilled animator with a strong kids animation portfolio, we are open to discussing a higher monthly rate.
We may start with a short paid test animation of 120 –180 seconds before starting the monthly work.
