Job Description: Retail Sector Consultant We are looking for a Retail Consultant to shape and deliver high value, end to end retail use cases for our simulation platform. This role is focused on turning complex retail decisions into clear, testable scenarios that can be modelled, validated and scaled. Purpose Retail decisions are often treated as isolated activities, when in reality they create downstream impact across margin, waste, availability and operations. The purpose of this role is to make those system wide effects visible before decisions are made by translating real world retail problems into executable simulation use cases. What you will do • You will identify and prioritise high value retail problems that cut across Commercial, Supply Chain, Fulfilment and Stores. These are inherently cross domain and decision led, not tied to a single system or team. • You will work with business stakeholders to define the core decision clearly. This includes articulating the trade offs (e.g. margin vs waste, availability vs cost), the decision variables, and the conditions under which different choices perform better. • You will break down each use case into structured, low level scenarios that can be executed in simulation. This means defining inputs, policy levers, constraints and measurable outputs in a way that can be realistically modelled. • You will partner with Data Science and Engineering to ensure each use case is implementable. This includes validating data availability, aligning on modelling assumptions, and ensuring the use case reflects how the business actually operates. • You will lead stakeholder alignment across Business, Tech and Data Science. This includes working with senior stakeholders who may have limited time or conflicting priorities, and driving agreement on scope, value and success criteria. • You
