Job Description:
MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School, Pandharpur is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Part-Time Football & Badminton Coach to train and mentor students in football and badminton. The ideal candidate should be passionate about sports, fitness, and student development, with the ability to prepare students for inter-school competitions and tournaments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct football and badminton coaching sessions for students.
- Develop training schedules and fitness programmes.
- Teach sports techniques, rules, and game strategies.
- Identify and nurture talented students for competitive events.
- Prepare school teams for tournaments, competitions, and sports meets.
- Ensure discipline, safety, and sportsmanship among students.
- Organize practice sessions, trials, and intra-school competitions.
- Maintain sports equipment and training records.
- Coordinate with school authorities for sports events and activities.
- Promote physical fitness and healthy lifestyle habits among students.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed./M.P.Ed.) or relevant sports certification.
- Certification in Football and/or Badminton coaching will be preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 1–3 years of coaching experience in Football and/or Badminton.
- Experience in training school students and preparing teams for competitions will be preferred.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of football and badminton techniques and rules.
- Excellent communication and student management skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
- Good organizational and teamwork abilities.
