Sr. Staff Nurses are responsible for the total care of patients in the wards and for Supervision and guidance to Nursing officers, student nurse, hospital attendants, sanitation attendants and security staff.
Role & Responsibilities:-
· Strong clinical and patient-care expertise
· Leadership and team management skills
· Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
· Ability to work under pressure and manage emergencies
· Knowledge of hospital policies, nursing ethics, and quality standards
· Provide direct nursing care to patients according to physician instructions and nursing protocols
· Monitor patient health status, vital signs, and response to treatment
· Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and other prescribed treatments
· Assist doctors during medical procedures, rounds, and emergency situations
· Supervise junior nurses, ward attendants, and support staff
· Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards
· Maintain accurate patient records, nursing notes, and handover reports
· Coordinate with doctors, laboratory staff, pharmacy, and administration
Educate patients and attendants about care procedures and recovery plans
